October 25, 2018 - Exercise and Breastfeeding
ARCHIVED TRAINING MODULES
When CDAPP Sweet Success Training Modules pass the 2 year mark from when they are posted, the Resource & Training Center is no longer able to provide attendees with CEU credit. However, they still count towards the staff education component of necessary CDAPP Sweet Success trainings for continued Affiliation with our program. Attendees are more than welcome to on their own, submit trainings to the Board of Registered Nursing, Commission of Dietetic Registration or any other accrediting body. The Resource & Training Center cannot guarantee their accepted submission to these organizations.

Presentation Objectives
Review the maternal benefits and contraindications of exercise during pregnancy
Discuss the importance of individualized exercise assessment to determine exercise recommendation length and modes
Examine breastfeeding recommendations its relationship with diabetes prevention
Determine how to avoid maternal hypoglycemia while breastfeeding in Type1, Type 2 and Gestational Diabetes patients
Describe the maternal and infant benefits of breastfeeding
Review the safety of oral medications and breastfeeding
Training Module Completion:
This Archived Training Module comprises of 3 parts: 1. a short pre-test, 2. a video presentation and 3. a short post-test. Upon completion of all 3 components, attendees can report on their Annual Affiliate Survey, that they completed this Archived Training Module as it will count for CDAPP staff training requirements for Affiliation status.
