Presentation Objectives
At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:
List maternal and fetal benefits of breastfeeding
State the challenges of breastfeeding with the general population, with diabetic mothers, and with infants of diabetic mothers
Identify ways in which providers can support the diabetic mother-infant dyad to successfully establish breastfeeding
Review safety of diabetes medications with breastfeeding

Upon completion of all 3 components: 1. pre-test, 2. video presentation, and 3. post-test, you are eligible to receive continuing education, free of charge. After submitting the third component (post-test), please allow up to 3 weeks for your certificate to be emailed to you.
