Presentation Objectives

At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Identify goals of managing diabetes during pregnancy and potential complications

  • Understand how to optimize pregnancy planning for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetic patients

  • Evaluate co-morbid conditions and their management

  • Gain awareness of the educational needs of the patient during pregnancy

  • Familiarize the learner with use of digital health technologies
